The recipe is from BBC Good Food http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4942/lemon-drizzle-cake
I’ve made quick notes below in case it ever disappears from the BBC site. I have had to change cook time and temperature as the first one burnt at 180c fan.

Instructions
- Heat oven to 190c beat the butter and sugar together, add the eggs, sift in flour add lemon zest, mix.
- Put mixture into lined baking tin.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes (took longer for me). When the skewer comes out clean take the cake out and allow to cool.
- Mix together lemon juice and sugar for the drizzle.
- With the cake still in the tin, prick it all over with a skewer, then pour over the drizzle and leave to completely cool.
